In gesprek met Everister en Kingman

Wat kunnen de leerlingen van Kasambankholi Primary School zich herinneren van de groep en wat voor impact heeft dit op hun leven gehad?

Everister Gondwe is inmiddels 15 jaar en herrinnert zich de groep nog goed.
" The women of the group were working so hard! They were doing work that I thought to be men's work. I really got inspired by what women in the Netherlands can do, so I decided to work hard, pass my exams, and go to secondary school. After I pass secondary school I want to become a police woman."

Ook Kingman Chirwa, inmiddels 16 jaar, kan zich de groep nog goed herinneren.
"When the group was here I really liked to communicate with them, however I noticed that my English was not good enough. I therefore decided to work hard on my English so I can communicate well when I meet people from other countries. I also will need English for my future job because I decided to become a teacher after I pass secondary school."
