In Liziwazi gaat de bouw verder

Projectcoördinator Mussa is in Liziwazi en vertelt hoe het nu met de bouw gaat...

"The project at Liziwazi took place in August and it was a great project with very good interaction more especially because it was a repetitive project so the community members were already conversant with what the participants like. Work on the construction went on well and when the participants were biding farewell to the community members a lot of work had already been done on the two teachers houses but also on the toilet and GCR. The participants and the locals together did the bricklaying, filling the foundation, beamfilling and roofing of the two teachers houses. They also took part in the digging of the pit for the latrine and construction of the same. After the group left, the community has managed to do plastering, flooring, skirting on one teacher’s house and they are now working on the second teacher’s house. The school has got two teachers who are operating from long distances to reach the school and the community wants to finish the construction works in good time so that the other teachers can occupy them. The community is remaining with flooring the other house, pointing, drainage, painting, fixing glasses, fixing doors and painting."
