Update on Status of structures at Kalumamba
Project update van 23 augustus 2020 door Mussa Nyirenda
School wearing a complete new face
Kalumamba School has been having infrastructure challenges for quite some time. First to come to their rescue was CCAP through World Servants who constructed 2 classrooms with a head teacher’s office, 2 teacher’s houses, 2 double toilets and Girls Changing Room. Right now the community has been honored again by World Bank which has constructed 4 classrooms and toilets. This means that the community now has 8 classrooms which is a great achievement to the community. The school has transformed with the new structures and when schools reopen after covid-19 the learners will have more places for accommodation. The only challenge so far is teachers houses. Teachers and parents expressed great joy for the support rendered to their community and they are optimistic that it will help in improving the performance of learners in class.
