Community excited with the project at Katawa

The community at Katawa was targeted for Community Improvement Plan based of the fact that it’s the first time for them to host a group and that there has been no Community Improvement Plan process conducted before. The community identified the following as the main problems Classroom block, teachers houses, hunger, poverty as some of the challenges being encountered by them. A community Improvement Plan was developed and the community also shared the roles amongst themselves. The community is eagerly waiting for the team of volunteers from the Netherlands so that they can come and work together. The community has been well motivated that the team is coming to their community and take it as great opportunity for them to be supported.
