Impressive result

Feedback from the community:
Cooperation with the WS team was with admiration of their neat and planned attitude, working hard with their heart. During their stay there was a lot of interaction as there were a soccer game, several local tourist outings.
Interaction with the youth of the church and church families are possible. The community has seen that these young Dutch people were educated, tough motivated workers with a lot of effort, discipline and energy. They kept the compound clean.
The Dutch group admired the Myanmar Buddhist attitude of serving and hospitality.

The building was unexpectedly finished for 2/3 during this first project. The final result was impressive, most of the work was done by the contractor, but the extra labor was a welcome contribute to speed up the project.
Dutch people are planning their days and hours ahead. The team leader had good control on the group.
Dutch participants learned from the Mon culture: serving, inviting the families for diner.
From 20:00 people of the village should like to have a rest because they will rise at 04:00 in the morning to do their morning prayers and prepare food for the monks.

The hostel will be in use with disabled children of the island after project 2017 is finished. The use can be divided in two groups:
1. Children who can be trained to go to a normal school after a certain period.
2. Children who are seriously mental disabled that a program of day-care center is essential.

Everyone is looking forward for the second half of the project in 2017.
The future perspective will even be more positive, because the second group (2017) will have a number of participants that will be doubled. Therefor the amount of money will also be double what will have an impact on the possibility to invest in furniture and other inner design subjects. The local and governmental people on the island for the first time saw what foreigners on this island did for disabled children.
