1. Summary
The project in Chaungzone, Myanmar was very special, very emotional, very enjoyable, Something came into the end, the fruits of the seeds we planted and the results of the hard work are almost ready.
The  two quarter of boarding house  are nearly to complete, 65% of dream for boarding house is realized..although it have alittle bit different.

2. Introduction on the project
The project started in 2011 with the registration of the Disabled Resource Center . The goal of the Disabled boarding house  is to grow and to develop the disabled childrens life not only in the family but also in the community. The project started at 2011 at chaungzone Myanmar Baptist church ,in a  small room. In 2016 we continue to give services not only for community based works but also for boarding house plan and can accept some disabled children from the Island, as we already have nursery school building. There are 4 living rooms for staff, a place for early child care program , a place for center based daycare of disabled people . Most of the places in the building are in use. There are 45 children of ages 3 to 5years and 11 children of 6 months to 3 years, in day time and 5 disabled children under 10years old as a family member at the school... The leadership of the school  is organizing many programs to develop childrens skills, to improve their talents with the curriculum of ECCD method. Further more , as we learn from our field services we become to know what  we need to do more in developing childrens life for our communities. So, as God give us vision of boarding house plan for nurturing disabled to be inclusive in the communities. In 2016 ,
The  group of World Servants arrived to chaungzone , to help and to fulfill our dream. As World Servants project to Myanmar is the first one for Myanmar, boarding house for disabled children is also the first one in Myanmar. So we feel that it is a great project to carry on the vision. Every participants in a group was an angel  for us  and a step forward in realizing our dreams. During the  time of volunteering for the construction all the participants took part in the construction of the building. This is a huge and very successful project for us and also for Myanmar.

3. Operational level

3.1 The construction
The construction building process were  prepared and started since the donations from World Servant arrived ,before the group arrived. The foundation and the roof of the building were ready. Moreover ,The first lines of the walls were ready, so participants could see what do they have to build and where. The working day started with loading bricks. It was a very nice work; the whole group could work together. By the grace of God , it is although raining season, it was shining during two weeks ,when World Servants groups giving volunteering time.
The walls were growing very fast despite to the hot weather. Within few days the walls and the floor were ready. They worked  hard at the building, some participants carried the bricks, the sand and some are doing brick laid  for the wall and also for the floor. All of the walls, and the floor were ready at the end of the first portion of the project.
Participants were very enthusiastic and encouraged. We could see the results of the next year.

3.2 Facilitation of the team
Accommodation was at the church and the school as usual. Women slept in the school building and men at the large hall above the church. There were enough toilets, showers, washbasins for the whole group.
They said that the food was good, as always. It was prepared by 5 local ladies.
The nursery school is not closed during the construction process at chaungzone. So, the fellowship program for the children were also arranged by the team effectively. children were very happy and enjoyed to be with the team . The weather was also fine during that period although it was the raining season, we
The team  had separated discussion program with men and women .Moreover, with peer group discussion program ,etc….The average of participants were round about 30 for each group.. The participants brought a lot of stories related to the context and shared to each other.. All occasions were well prepared and detailed. The participants were satisfied for the discussion topic about the country, gender, education, marriage ,and economic and policy ,and also about personal family planning. The team leaded to the discussion.. After every discussing, they communicate friendly and openly to be friendship.

3.4 Transportation
The group arrived safely to Myanmar airport till to chaungzone church,which is the project site. saya ma hsi and Ma Htay Htay win  Picked  them up from the airport to the Hotel.After one night spent in yangon hotel, sayama Hsi organized the group left to chaungzone on the next day..

3.5 Safety / Field Security Plan
The safety system of World Servants is worked out perfectly. Participants really keep the rules.
Everything went well without accidents .But for some of the participants felt lost motion and one is caused virus infection by the mosquetoe bit. This was the first group  to stay in community and the first one of project in Myanmar of boarding house for disabled children. They have two break time for relax. After that they keep going on for the work. It  was very hot in our country  when they are working  even in the raining season. some participants who couldnt sleep at night because of the heat. Although they were suffering from heat which is different situation from their country, they tried to accept that as an experience in their life. So, it is a great sample for us, to be patient although in different experiences that we faced.


3.6 Cooperation with the WSN project staff
It was wonderful.  We had never known each other since previously. This was the first project in Myanmar, and also for us. So, there were many surprises for different culture, many difficulties for language barrier, but no misunderstandings because although there were many differences, we communicate each other with mutual respect and mutual understanding. I simply love these people so much for they have broad minded. This project was a real blessing for us.

3.7 Involvement of the stakeholders
3.7.1 Applicant 
We really had several worried moments for the group. Because of different and changing living style. But everything done well. .
3.7.2 Staff
They worked  very hard. Although they are very tired with the whole day duty, they helped the team for the work during their free time. They made fellowship together in the programs. The nursery school at the project site  did not close at this moment.so, as the world servant staff were work hard ,the chaungzone churchs staff were also worked hard together during the duty off time.
3.7.3 Beneficiaries
The children: There are many programs, different activities, even during the constructing period. some are organized for the kids. Children were very happy and enjoyed to play and being together with them.. Some of the children are very talented like the organizers. They were very excited , The activities which organized by the team were really wonderful for the children. They got many experiences for being together in two weeks.
3.7.4 The local authorities
The local authorities, township officer appeared one time at the welcome dinner party when the
group arrived to the church at the evening time.. In general they dont do much for the project. But they accepted well and let all the program that we did together with the group in community, such as playing football match with local people, celebrating Dutch afternoon from  outside in community, touring around the island, and going excursion to the hospital, to the fishery village, and to the nursery school  from other village, to the paddy  field, to the court house, to the hand-craft places, etc….well. During the process although they didnt appear very often, they let all the program to be, well.
3.7.5 Community
The community got fellowship well with the participants during two weeks. They are welcoming in most of the houses of the village. We had simple family visits to some houses together. The group organized to play games at the night time. People in the community like the work of nurturing children and also not only nurturing disabled children but also re-helped works for disabled people. We share together our experiences occasionally.  we can made fare-ware party with  cultural show. many people from the community and from the government office were come and joined dinner together at the party.


4. Development of the project
Since the team left  the building, there were no more activities process for the building, because we have no more and any other support since previously. We, already submitted that to world servant organization to finished that as we are in poor community and also being poor organization. When the budget for the first year gone, we stop it for now. But we still give services to the disabled children at the old building of nursery school .
For the first portion of the project the doors , windows, the ceiling, and the smooth process of the cement for the wall, some part of the toilet were left. It is in process of next year . Before finishing the construction process we cant accept the disabled children for schooling.
